Elijah Kaplan

Vice President Capital Markets

Elijah Kaplan joined Hudson Capital Partners in October 2009 as Vice President, Capital Markets. Elijah is responsible for marketing the firm’s products and services to capital markets participants including banks and other lenders, financial sponsors, and distressed investors.

Elijah brings extensive relationships and transaction experience in the middle-market. Recently, Mr. Kaplan was a Vice President at Marathon Asset Management where he originated and executed middle-market investments across the capital structure.  In addition, Mr. Kaplan was responsible for analyzing and managing investments in various retail and consumer products companies and helped lead several workout proceedings and restructurings.  Prior to that, Mr. Kaplan served as a Vice President at Albion Investors where he specialized in mezzanine and private equity investing.  At Albion, Mr. Kaplan managed the investment in, and was active in strategic decision making for a distressed retail portfolio company.  Mr. Kaplan began his career in the leveraged finance investment banking groups at both JPMorgan and Banc of America Securities. 

Elijah holds a degree in finance and accounting from Yeshiva University and an MBA from the Stern School of Business at New York University.
